With your online store you can...
- ... record your stock levels,
- display it to the customer if desired and
- receive an e-mail notification when stock levels are low
How to use Stock Management
- Select the Store element on your website
- In the Right Toolbar, under Settings, activate the function Use stock info to control sales
- Show stock amout – shows the current stock level in the online store (on the product detail page)
- Hide out of stock items – hides products that are out of stock
- Send low stock email notification – if activated, the Low stock limit function appears where you can specify the stock level from which you will receive a notification.
- Now, in the Right Toolbar, under Store go for Edit products
- For each product/variant, assign a unique SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) and the current stock level
- When you are finished, confirm with Apply
E-mail Notification
- In the Right Toolbar, under Form go for E-mail
- Enter the E-mail adress to receive the notification into the Form will be sent to this E-mail field. You can separate multiple recipient addresses with a comma.
- In the field Form will be sent from this E-mail address, enter the e-mail address from which the form will be sent.
- Tip: Create a separate E-mail address for this case
- You must send e-mails from the same domain as your website (e.g. if your website is muster-xx-mann.at, the email address must be versand@muster-xx-mann.at)
- In the Right Toolbar, under SMTP, activate the function Activate SMTP and fill in the following fields:
- SMTP Host: Always begins with 'mail.' followed by your domain - in our example this would be mail.muster-xx-mann.at
- SMTP Port: 587
- SMTP encryption: TLS
- SMTP username: The username is the email address you are sending from - in our example versand@muster-xx-mann.at
- SMTP password: The password of your e-mail address
