How do I integrate Pinterest on my website?

Integrate Pinterest

  • Drag the Social element from the Main Toolbar onto your website
  • Choose Pinterest
  • In the Right Toolbar, under the Pinterest tab, you can now select the Widget type and therefor decide, which Pinterest element you would like to integrate

 

Customize the Pinterest Integration

The following widget types are available for selection:

  • Save button:
    If you select the Save button, you can then select the Button type in the next step
    • An image:
      A specific image is saved on Pinterest. You can...
      • ... determine the button shape: Large, round
      • ... specify the source address of the image. This will be saved with the image on Pinterest. You can either enter your homepage or the specific page on which the image appears.
      • ... specify the image URL. This is where you link the image to be saved on Pinterest. To find out the image URL, right-click on the image and select Copy image address. The image URL is now in the clipboard and can be pasted under Image URL.
      • ... enter an image description
      • ... display the number of pins
      • ... the language of the button
    • Any image:
      Any image on the website on which the button is located can be selected for saving. ATTENTION: Background images cannot be selected. You can...
      • determine the button shape: Large, round
      • ... on Custom image for the button button. To do this, enter the image URL. ATTENTION: You should use the right-hand control bar under Size to adjust the size.
      • ... the number of pins Display
      • ... speficy the language of the button
  • Follow:
    With this widget type, visitors can follow you on Pinterest. Enter the Pinterest user URL to do so. This is the URL being displayed in the browser when you call up your profile on Pinterest.
  • Pin:
    Link a specific pin on your website. To do this, enter the Pin URL. You will find this when you open the desired pin in Pinterest. You can also set the Pin size. If your pin is truncated, you can adjust the size in detail within the Right Toolbar under the Size tab.
  • Board:
    You can use this widget type to provide a pinboard on your website. To do this, enter the URL of your pinboard in the Pinterest board URL field. You can also set the Board height, Board width and the Width of images. You can specify the size of the pinboard in the Right Toolbar under the Size tab.
  • Profile:
    You can use this widget to make your Pinterest profile available on your website. To do so, enter the Pinterest user profile URL for this. This is the URL that is displayed in the browser when you call up your profile on Pinterest. You can also enter the Profile height, Profile width and the Width of images. In the Right Toolbar, under the Size tab, you can also set the absolute size of your profile.
