How do I create a multilingual website?

The helloly website builder allows you to create multilingual websites.

 

Add languages

  • Drag the Languages element from the Main Toolbar onto your website
  • Choose your preferred language selector
  • Click on + Add language
  • Select the desired languages and confirm with Apply

 

Editing a language

  • Click on the desired language to edit content in the selected language
  • Now translate one element after the other
  • When you have finished with one language, you can select the next language and translate the corresponding content
  • To translate the navigation (menu), select the navigation (menu) and click on Edit menu
  • In the window that opens, go for Item Name and you will now see the respective language flag
  • You can now enter the translation here by clicking on the drop-down menu

Note: There can only be one standard language which is marked with an asterisk.

 

Delete languages

  • Select the Languages element on your website
  • In the Right Toolbar you, under the Languages tab, will find your languages
  • Move the mouse over the language you want to delete and click the X-symbol
  • To remove all languages, select the Languages element in the page structure and press delete on the keyboard

Note: Please note that translations must be added manually.
