How do I Copy and Paste Elements/Layouts?

You have several options for copying elements/layouts:

 

Copy/Paste via the 'Pencil for Editing' Icon

  • Select the element/layout you want to copy.
  • Click the Pencil for Editing
  • Select Copy
  • Select the layout into which you want to paste the element/layout
  • Click the Pencil for Editing
  • Select Paste
  • Hint: Alternatively, you can also right-click on an element/layout

 

Copy/Paste using the keyboard shortcut

  • Select the element/layout you want to copy.
  • Press the keys CTRL + C (Windows) or COMMAND + C (Mac) to copy the element/layout
  • Select the layout into which you want to insert the element/layout
  • Press the keys CTRL + V (Windows) or COMMAND + V (Mac) to insert the element/layout

 

Inserting Picture Elements directly from a Graphics Program

You can select an image section directly in your graphics program, copy it and insert it on your website. This means you do not have to save and upload the image file separately. Please note that you have no influence on the file size.
