How and when will I be informed when my email storage space is running low?

Each e-mail account has a defined storage space for received and sent e-mails. By default, this is 200 MB. You can find out how to increase this storage space in point 5 of the FAQ article "How do I create a new email address?".

If the storage space for an email account runs out, both the owner of the email account and the owner of the web hosting will receive a notification by email.

The first warning level is reached when 80% of the storage space is occupied. If this is the case, a warning is immediately sent by email to the affected email account. In addition, a warning is sent by email during the night to the email address stored in the customer account.

The second warning level is reached when 90% of the storage space is occupied. If this is the case, a warning is immediately sent by e-mail to the e-mail account concerned. In addition, a warning is sent by e-mail during the night to the e-mail address stored in the customer account.
